It's Official!!! The First week of the VMax 2025 Competition season is in the history books. Here are members of the 2nd and 3rd Flight Simulation Training Squadrons from Jourdanton (Left) and Poteet (Right) High Schools. FIGHTS ON!
End of Week Three Wrap Up: VMax 2025 is well underway and the kids are starting to crack into the boxes of the first new flight simulators that have arrived. Talk about building aviation knowledge from the ground up. These kids are crushing it. The 2nd Flight Simulation Training Squadron has officially drawn first blood with the creation of their squadron Patch. Way to go Indians!
Week 5 Wrap Up: The Second Flight Simulation Training Squadron is on the books with their team patch. Way to go Flying Aggies. This week has been productive with all three teams nearing completion on the build of their sim sleds. We hope to be up and running on simulation training by the end of week 7. This week we are meeting with the SR. VP for the Air and Space Forces Association and hope to gain them as a mission partner moving forward. Fights On!
Week 7 Wrap UP for VMax 2025: The youth of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Flight Simulation Training Squadrons have had several very productive weeks since our last update. Joining our team of volunteers are Mike "aLIEn" Buck and Gerardo "Cowboy" Caballero. These three teams are just days away from fully functional simulators and then the real fun begins as we get down to sets, reps and corrections for real. So proud of the work these kids are putting in. Fights On!
