Volunteers

The goals of the T-6 VMax program are to:

1) Get kids in grades 9 - 12 interested in pursuing careers in aviation.

2) Mentoring these kids in the pursuit of aviation education.  Teaching them how to make the most efficient use of their money while gaining their FAA certifications or how to get into military flight training careers.

3) Removing economic barriers to entering the aviation career field through scholarship opportunities earned through a competitive flight simulation E-Sport program.

What we are looking for:

People with an aviation background and a strong desire to pass on the lessons they have learned in aviation to the next generation of pilots.

You do not need to be a certified flight instructor to participate.  We will provide the training required for you to teach the basaic core skill sets these kids will require to become competative in this program.  We also want people to share their experiences in all areas related to careers in aviation.

This season runs from 27 Oct 2025 until 6 March 2026 with breaks over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  Practices are generally after school begining at 4 PM and run for two hours twice a week.  Even if you can only commit to one training session per month, your assistance and experience will be greatly appreciated by the kids and coaches for these three high school teams.
